Uma prática de análise linguística: acarretamentos semânticos em gêneros discursivos do cotidiano

Abstract

This paper addresses semantic relations, specifically entailments, found in everyday discursive genres such as billboards and signs. The research aims to integrate these genres into teaching, as recommended by the Brazilian National Common Curriculum (BNCC), proposing a more grammatical and contextualized linguistic analysis in the classroom. During the investigation, a limitation in the availability of online examples was observed, highlighting the importance of discussing this topic in academic and educational settings. The goal is to share with students and teachers two examples of contextualized linguistic analysis, fostering a broader reflection on language. The research is primarily based on the works of Cançado (2008), Pires de Oliveira (2001, 2012), Bakhtin (1997), and the BNCC (Brazil, 2018). The results identified double entailments, as well as polysemic, semiotic, and contextual aspects, showing how this grammatical approach, combined with discursive factors, can contribute to students' reading and text production processes, in alignment with the BNCC's guidelines.
