In this article, we discuss the allusion in a new theoretical perspective, in which it ceases to be a figure of less language and assumes the place of mediator between the linguistic and discursive. In these conditions, the allusion is a strategy of reading and writing allowing the reader and the author an uninterrupted movement, linear, but also spiral between the inside and the outside. The movement of go, come and becoming, driven by allusion enables the construction of meaning, when revealed, through the categories of metaphor and metonymy, the said / unsaid / absence / presence of discursive memory and intertextuality, the allusive game built by author and reader in Água Viva by Clarice Lispector, becoming, in this way, the reading and writing project of the work as well as the very methodology of this article. So, we bring a discussion still recent about the phenomenon of reading and writing in contemporary times.
