Author Biography

Maria Célia Lima-Hernandes, FFLCH/USP

Pesquisadora da Área de Filologia e Língua Portuguesa da Universidade de São Paulo. Investiga objetos da Sintaxe Histórica, especialmente no que se refere à mudança gramatical do português. Orienta trabalhos de iniciação científica, mestrado e doutorado fundamentados na teoria sobre gramaticalização em interface com a sociolingüística. Graduada em Letras (FEC-ABC), Especialista em Gramática (USJT), Mestre em Língua Portuguesa (USP), doutora em Lingüística (IEL-UNICAMP). Líder do grupo de pesquisa "Mudança Gramatical do Português - Gramaticalização" e do grupo "Mudança sociolingüística do português", pesquisadora dos grupos de pesquisa "Projeto História do Português Paulistano" e "Polaridade e gramaticalização". Atualmente, tem estudado as estruturas X-que.
