Abstract

The objective of this work is to report the development of workshops on the GeoGebra platform with 6th year elementary school students to work on two distinct themes: perimeter and area and fractions. Existing public materials on the GeoGebra platform were used to create the proposals that will be reported. GeoGebra is a free application that promotes collaborative work between teachers through a collection of materials published by them, so, when preparing these proposals, research was carried out on the platform with the aim of learning from other teachers and enriching the proposal constructed. In short, teacher mediation is essential so that the use of technologies does not lose meaning and helps the teacher achieve their teaching objectives and encourage students to create knowledge autonomously. The partnership between the supervising teacher, coordinating teacher and the volunteer student of the Institutional Teaching Initiation Scholarship Program was extremely important for these proposals to develop the concepts desired in the classes.
