The following article aims to have a deeper discussion about child experiences with rules of interaction. In order to do so, we focused on the displacements that the child makes and interprets in the conversation while trying to understand the interactional episode experienced. In the approach of such theme, we analyze an enunciative selection of conversational interactions between two year and two year - six month, with her parents and friends. The analysis of this selection shows that the child’s participation in the conversation involves a complex sociocognitive operation for understanding the interactional event, that is, for recognizing the “game” that all participants seem to have accepted to play. The child, through micronegotiations, improves her competence to produce enunciates that are adapted to communicative situation and to the other’s discourse, in a collective building of their saying.
