Abstract

In this work, the protein generation algorithm was used, which performs the construction of BCH codes, in order to reproduce an enzyme-related DNA sequence mitochondrial ATP6. This algorithm allows the study of mutations in the generated sequence as well as its identification, through error-correcting codes. In sequence reproduction of the mitochondrial enzyme ATP6 it was possible to observe that the exchange of a nucleotide occurs at the position of crack 17, resulting in a non-silent mutation. Thus, it will be analyzed how this alteration can modify the biological architecture of the generated sequence. The results of these analyzes may be useful in the study of genetic mutations, since the exchange of an amino acid in the ATP6 enzyme can cause some genetic diseases.
