About the Journal

The journal Educação e Políticas em Debate is an electronic journal linked to the research line State, Policy and Management in Education of the Postgraduate Program in education of the Federal University of Uberlândia. Its editorial policy recognizes the legitimacy of dissent, polemics and the diversity of theoretical conceptions and matrices as something proper and inherent to democratic spaces. Thus, the philosophy, policies and practices of the journal are anchored in the principles of plurality, freedom and intellectual autonomy, prioritizing the effects and contributions of each singular production for the collective production of syntheses and new antitheses. It aims to provide researchers, teachers and undergraduate and graduate students from different national and international institutions with the dissemination of research results and experiences that present consistency, rigor and originality in the approach to the topic. The thematic approaches conveyed by the journal are aimed mainly at Brazilian and foreign scholars and researchers in the area of educational policies, but also at others interested in the area of education and Humanities in general.
