Language and Learning Process in Merleau-Ponty

The objective of this work will be to seek to understand how the studies on language, undertaken by Merleau-Ponty in the second half of the 40s and in the 50s, can be connected with a gnoseological process of acquiring expression. In this way, we will seek to address the first notion of learning formulated by the author in the Structure of Behavior (SC), as well as its function in his reflection. Next, we will see how the theme of learning and language were developed as means to rethink the conflicting conclusions in the Phenomenology of Perception (PhP) and achieve a new way of supporting the field of abstract behaviors, with the help of expression. In this way, we will seek to highlight how perception is given new meaning in this context and how its passage into the subject's expression would be possible. Thus, we will take into account the movement from immanence to transcendence, assuming the acquisition of language as a diacritical structure, which is primarily based on a diacritical field of perception.
