Abstract
É verdadeiramente animadora para a nossa Sociedade Brasileira de Cartografia, que tanto tem recomendado, clamado e pugnado por uma maior atenção das autoridades responsáveis pelo setor cultural do País para o problema do ensino da Cartografia, o tratamento que vem merecendo o assunto no Estado da Guanabara, a repercussão desse movimento em vários outros Estados da Federação e o interesse que vem despertando a atividade cartográfica como profissão.
