Reinterpretando o fenômeno de desenvolvimento linguístico a partir de um diálogo entre a Teoria Sistêmico-Funcional e a Síntese Estendida da Evolução

Resumo

Este trabalho, de natureza teórica, busca revisitar a Epistemologia Genética de Jean Piaget (Chiarottino, 2017) e Lev Vygotsky (Hasan, 2016) para uma explicação da dinâmica bio-sociogenética do desenvolvimento linguístico (i.e., aquisição da linguagem) à luz dos desenvolvimentos teóricos da Síntese Estendida da Evolução (Pigliucci; Muller, 2010) em metadiálogo (Hasan, 2009) com a Teoria Sistêmico-Funcional (Halliday, 1978, 2002, 2003, 2007; Hasan, 2002, 2004; Painter, 2004; Williams; Lukin, 2004). As obras de Piaget e Vygotsky, relidas sob a ótica da literatura contemporânea, apresentam notável consonância com a biologia evolutiva e a sociossemiótica de natureza sistêmico-funcional. Apresenta-se um modelo centrado na Teoria da Construção de Nicho, caracterizando os seres humanos como construtores de nichos semióticos que se desenvolvem a partir de heranças ecossemióticas (Laland; Odling-Smee; Feldman, 2000). Conclui-se que, no caso humano, desenvolvimento linguístico e desenvolvimento biológico são fenômenos cuja separação só é possível em certos níveis de abstração teórica, porém inseparáveis na prática analítica das suas dinâmicas.
