Resumen

O artigo traduzido trata de discussões acerca do quinto elemento na obra De Philosophia, de Aristóteles. Aborda ainda a tradição do quinto elemento em filósofos posteriores, e apresenta instigantes hipóteses sobre o fato de Cícero ter ou não tido acesso a esta obra aristotélica.
