Field Education proposes to think about the individual in its multiple dimensions. The human formation of subjects is allied to the formative matrix (work; social struggle; collective organization; culture and history), with the aim of thinking about the individual as a whole. The Degree in Field Education initiated the institutionalization of Field Education and, surely, is configured as the most important territory of Fied Education. By institutionalizing Field Education it creates different identities and this does not limit it, but expands it to new territories and territorialities. Thus, this work aims to present the progress of the Degree in Field Education courses to build the cartography of the Degree in Field Education in Brazil. From this survey, it was possible to identify the territorialization of the Degree courses in Field Education in the various Higher Education Institutions that offer them. To this end, an inter-institutional dialogue for the collection of regional data, expanded the look at the reality of the courses and the challenges in the period of the COVID19 pandemic. The actions for the development of this research are proposed (1) Literature review, (2) Survey of HEIs with active and ongoing courses (3) Survey of Pedagogical Course Projects (PPCs) (4) Build a cartography of the Degree in Field Education in Brazil (5) Identify the selection processes (6) Survey of strategies in the period of the COVID 19 pandemic. The periodic survey of the progress of the courses, makes it possible to follow the institutionalization of the courses, considering that from the year 2016 the courses no longer received specific resources and became part of universities as regular courses.
