This research is a description of a case study where Learning Strategies are used in learning Portuguese language grammar, through "errors" of Nominal Agreement produced by Zimbabwean university students, collected in essays of exam scripts between 1999 -2011 at the University of Zimbabwe. Based on this grammar content, the Learning Strategies training model proposed by O'Malley e Chamot (1990) is simulated. Then, based on a questionnaire created by the research of Oxford et al. (2007) and Purpura (1999), there is an assessment on the degree of frequency concerning Zimbabwean university students applying learning strategies.Downloads
