Círculo de Viena: fisicalismo e a utopia da ciência unificada
Este artigo apresenta a continuidade entre duas propostas do Círculo de Viena: o fisicalismo, o projeto de elaboração de uma linguagem estruturada logicamente na qual todos os enunciados dos diferentes ramos da ciência podem ser formulados; e o movimento pela unidade da ciência, que visava a estabelecer uma rede de cooperação entre pessoas que adotam a atitude científica em seus trabalhos nas muitas áreas da ciência. Ao realizar tal discussão, notamos que os objetivos do Círculo de Viena encaixam-se em um contexto político e educacional de disseminação da atitude científica.

Vienna Circle: physicalism and the utopia of unified science
Abstract: This paper presents the continuum between two of Vienna Circle proposals: physicalism, the project of elaborating a logically structured language in which all statements from the various branches of science can be formulated; and the movement for the unity of science, that aimed at establishing a network of cooperation among people who adopt the scientific attitude in their work in the many areas of science. In performing such a discussion, it is possible to notice that the aims of the Vienna Circle fit into a political and educational context of dissemination of the scientific attitude.

Cercle de Vienne: physicalisme et l'utopie de la science unifiée
Resumé: Cet article présente la continuité entre deux propositions du Cercle de Vienne: le physicalisme, le projet d'élaboration d'un langage structuré logiquement dans lequel tout les énoncés de les diverses sections de la science peuvent être formulés; et le mouvement pour l'unité de la science, qui visait à établir un réseau de coopération entre les personnes qui adoptent l'attitude scientifique dans leur travail dans les nombreux domaines de la science. En faisant une telle discussion, on peut remarquer que les objectifs du Cercle de Vienne s'inscrivent dans un contexte politique et éducatif de diffusion de l'attitude scientifique.
