Methodological Proposal to Elaboration of the Boundary Map of Municipalities

Abstract
The work proposal a methodology for the definition of municipals boundaries, as a result of a experimentation theoretical-practical. As a first approximation of the methodology was applied for drawing the boundaries of the municipality of Jandira at São Paulo State and during this execution other similar processes validated and improve the methodology so it can be applied to other cases in similar conditions. For understanding the issue a few concepts were developed as such territory, territoriality and border, as well as the cartographic techniques used to correctly reproduce and manage the territorial space of interest.
