Interseccionalidad

una vista social sobre la percepción de variables sociolinguísticas

Resumen

A partir de una revisión bibliográfica que incluye teoria social, teoria sociolinguística y estudos sobre percepción sociolinguística dentro del campo del género y de la sexualidad, defendese el uso de interseccionalidad como una herramienta de análisis sociolinguística. El origen de la interseccionalidad es explicada, remetiendo a los movimientos sociales de las décadas de 1960 y 1970 y a la teoria del derecho legal. Además, se discuten diferentes enfoques interseccionales. Se exponen três experimentos sociolinguisticos que exploran las percepciones sobre género y sexualidad y cuyo análisis está alineado con perspectiva interseccional, así como las ventajas que presenta este enfoque analítico. Al final, se enfatiza la importancia de ver dinámicamente las categorías sociales y los factores contextuales para comprender el significado social de las variables sociolinguísticas.
