This text is one of the first results of our New Research and Innovation Arrangements: Food and Territory program, funded by the Araucária Foundation in the state of Paraná, Brazil. It is related to the objective of understanding how agroecological food production has been taking place in the southwest and coast of Paraná since 2013, a process that we are understanding from a historical-critical and territorial conception focused on cooperation with peasants, as well as with consumers of these food products. Thus, understanding the historical movement towards the territorialization of agroecological practices is fundamental, along with understanding how organic certifications take place, a topic described and represented in this text, serving as one of the bases guiding our research-action-participatory actions with the subjects of our program.
