About the Journal

The Brazilian Electronic Journal of Mathematics (BEJOM) is a publication from the Mathematics Department of the Institute of Exact and Natural Sciences of Pontal (ICENP) at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). It serves as a platform for scientific registration and dissemination, offering open access. The primary objectives of BEJOM are to publish results, whether final or partial, of scientific research; reviews of scientific or academic productions; reports of experiences; and educational products obtained in professional master's programs. These contributions should fall within the scope of education, probability and statistics, pure and applied mathematics, demonstrating consistency and rigor in their approach. All submissions must be original and unpublished.

Hosted on the Portal de Periódicos da UFU, , the journal holds the eISSN 2675-1313, and each article is identified with an individual DOI (Direct Object Identifier).

From 2020 to 2022, the journal followed an annual publication format with two issues (Jan/Jun and Jul/Dec), published semiannually.

Starting in 2023, BEJOM transitioned to continuous flow publication in annual volumes. With the adoption of this model, there is no longer a need to wait for the final composition of the volume before publishing each article. The publication timeline now depends solely on the anonymous peer review process, ensuring agility in the communication and dissemination of research.
