Dispositivo para a Verificação da Qualidade de Recepção de Sinais de GPS
Main Article Content
Abstract
This work presents a test assembly to verify the presence of multipath and interference on the GPS signals received at points located in the urban area. The method is based on the measurement of the length of a metal bar with L1 carrier phase static process. Two antennas, from two receivers, are installed at the ends of the bar with a precise fixing device. Time observation of 15 minutes can give consistent results. Carrying out observations at different sites: close to power line tower, under trees, street surrounded by tall buildings, open field, etc. presented a large spread on the bar dimension obtained after the pos-processing. The method shown as a quite trustful method to verify good or bad GPS signal reception.
