About the Journal

Em Extensão is a periodic of the Pro-Rectory of Extension and Culture (PROEXC) / Federal University of Uberlandia (UFU) and it has the objective of publishing university extension papers. The works published by this periodic present interdisciplinary content linked to the thematic areas established in the National Extension Plan (Communication, Culture, Human Rights, Education, Environment, Health, Technology and Work) and to the Guidelines for Extension in Brazilian Higher Education (CNE RESOLUTION N° 7/2018) and they converge to intensify the dialogical interaction between knowledge and the formative-pedagogical role of extension for the people involved in the extension process.

Em Extensão - new reviewers

The Em Extensão journal, a semiannual publication of the Pro-Rectorate of Extension and Culture (PROEXC) at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), invites extensionists to become reviewers and to collaborate in promoting and disseminating knowledge about extension activities.

Our goal is to encourage critical reflection on university extension as an episteme — a field of knowledge that dialogically integrates teaching, research, and society. The qualified evaluation of published articles is essential to strengthen this field of knowledge, and for this, we need extensionists with experience and a commitment to reflecting on extension practices.
