Abstract

The purpose of this interview is to present the research and professional and academic achievements of Professor Cleci Regina Bevilacqua, from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil. Moreover, the interview aims to bring together Bevilacqua’s ideas and proposals with regard to the directions of Translation education, especially in relation to terminology training for future translators.

Author Biography

Marileide Dias Esqueda, UFU

Marileide Dias Esqueda is an associate professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU).

She holds a master's degree and a PhD in Translation Studies from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp).

She is a professional translator and author of several articles published in peer-reviewed journals in Brazil and worldwide.

She also holds a post doctorate from Université de Montreal, in Montreal, Canada (2018-2019).
