The main objective of the article is to analyze the process of territorialization of agroforestry capital on land use in eucalyptus producing municipalities in the Tocantina Region of Maranhão. Methodologically, the work was divided into three stages: a) generation of secondary data; b) generation of primary data; and, finally, c) literary development, together with the compilation of results, from the analysis and systematization of the collected data. The results indicate that there is an advance of the agroforestry frontier in the Tocantina region of Maranhão, which has several means of appropriation such as purchase, lease, speculation, land grabbing etc. Thus, new conditions of land use are created, that imply changes in the relations of the subject in the territory, subordinating old forms of use to the great agroforestry capital.
