The commercializacion of agroextrativism products in municipal markets of the Alto Jequitinhonha

The article analyzes collect, consumption and sales of nature products in Alto Jequitinhonha. The research have a exploratory feature, using the case study method of multiple cases. Field research was realized with marketers and intermediaries selling agro-extractivism products in five municipal markets, using a semi-structured research script; after the research, the main products sold were analyzed. The results showed the diversity of nature products collected by farmers for commercialization; also shows the seasonality of supply, which accompanies the harverst; few agro-extractivism products are benefit to offered in the form of oil, pulp or wine during the off season. Pequi is main nature product collected for consumption and sale at municipal markets, with an inverse relationship between price and supply harverst summer season. The initial period of the research recorded the highest price of the pequi dozen, about R$ 3.50 and the lowest number of points of sale. With the arrival of the local harvest, the number of points of sale increased and the price was reduced. The lowest price of the pequi dozen was R$ 1.50. Already in the final period of the harvest the price of the dozen registered was R$ 1.72.
