Author Biographies

Milena Almeida Leite Brandão, UFU

She holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Mathematics from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2007 and 2010 respectively) and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2014). She is currently an adjunct professor in the Mathematics Graduation Course at the Pontal Institute of Exact and Natural Sciences at the Federal University of Uberlândia.

Edward Luis de Araújo, UFU

Graduated in Mathematics from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2001), Master in Mathematics from the State University of Campinas (2004) and PhD in Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (2016). He is currently Adjunct Professor IV at the Federal University of Uberlândia. He has experience in the area of Mathematics, with an emphasis on Partial Differential Equations.

Tânia Maria Machado de Carvalho, UFU

Graduated in Mathematics (teaching degree) from Centro Universitário de Rio Preto (1999), holds a master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2003), and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Universidade de Brasília (2008), specializing in Differential Geometry. 

VLADEMIR MARIM, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

Bachelor and Licentiate in Mathematics, Pedagogue, Psychopedagogue, Master and Doctor in Education Curriculum from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo - PUC-SP. He is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia-MG, Faculty of Education. Professor of the permanent staff of the Graduate Program in Teaching Science and Mathematics - PPGECM/UFU - Professional Master's Degree and of the Graduate Program in Education PPGED/UFU. Institutional Coordinator of the Pedagogical Residency Program (2018-current). Author of the Saber Mathematical Collection from 1st to 5th grade of Elementary School published by FTD publishing house. Guides Scientific Initiation students linked to FAPEMIG (2023/2024).
