DATALUTA –Struggle for the Earth Database –is a networked research and extension project that brings together multiple national and international research groups. Among the categories investigated in the scope of the project are territory, territorialization and deterritorialization. Thus, this article aims to contribute to the theoretical discussion of such categories, identifying the main national authors and their perspectives of analysis, concomitantly, sought to identify the focus given to these geographical categories in the DATALUTA bulletin, one of the linked communication vehicles to the project. The methodological contributions were subsidized by the content analysis, through the phases, namely: a) search for selection of articles in the Scientific Electronic Library Online-SciELO and Google Scholar databases; b) review of texts subsidized by pre -selected criteria; c) selection of the most cited words in the articles using the NVIVO software; d) identification of the authors and respective workswith the highest number of citations. For the DATALUTA bulletin, the selection of the most cited words in the articles with the support of the software was repeated. The texts and the respective “word clouds” were analyzed and allowed comparative deepening between the geographical categories and also, between the perspectives of the Brazilian agrarian question.
