Abstract

The Brazilian Electronic Journal of Mathematics (BEJOM) is a vehicle for scientific dissemination that aims to publish results, final or partial, of relevant research, carried out in the areas of Mathematics Education, Statistics, Pure and Applied Mathematics. In this fourth issue, five articles are presented, 2 in the area of Mathematical Education, 1 in the area of Pure Mathematics, 1 in the area of Applied Mathematics, 1 in the area of Statistics. We would like to thank our readers, the authors and everyone who in any way contributed to the viability of this new volume.

Author Biography

Vlademir Marim, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU)

Bacharel e Licenciado em Matemática, Pedagogo, Psicopedagogo, mestre e doutor em Educação Currículo pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo - PUC-SP. Atualmente é professor adjunto da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia-MG, Faculdade de Ciências Integradas do Pontal - FACIP - curso de Matemática. Organizador do livro Educação Matemática: contextos e práticas docentes publicado pela editora Alínea/Campinas Coordena o Estágio Supervisionado do curso de Matemática e participa das Comissões da Biblioteca, Estágio Supervisionado e Mobilidade Acadêmica. Coordenador de Gestão do Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID). Autor da Coleção Saber Matemática do 1º ao 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental publicada pela editora FTD (PNLD/2013). Orienta alunos do Programa de Inciação Científica do Ensino Médio (2012/2013).
