Abstract
Decorativas, impressionante poder de comunicação visual; curiosas e interessantes, assim são as plantas perspectivas, que servem ainda para o planejamento da segurança pública e do escoamento do tráfego; para o turismo e a propaganda.
Realmente trata-se de uma cartografia "muito especial", cuja técnica de construção conforme tecnologia assimilada no exterior e desenvolvida no Brasil, procuraremos descrever neste trabalho. Uma planta perspectiva é construída com o objetivo de ser decorativa e não se presta absolutamente para planejamento de obras de engenharia, pois não possui qualquer precisão, muito pelo contrário, as ruas, praças e edificações são ampliadas ou reduzidas exageradamente, a fim de se manter uma estética visual, e para que o usuário tenha uma visão perspectiva global da área.
