Abstract
Terminamos nosso primeiro ano de mandato e acreditamos termos sido felizes em tudo que pensamos e realizamos, embora certos do muito que ainda temos a fazer até julho de 1977. Continuamos com os mesmos propósitos, esperando levar avante, até o término do mandato, a nossa programação.
Neste período, conseguimos reunir todos aqueles que se dedicam à Cartografia, em um tríplice encontro, isto é, II Encontro Nacional de Cartografia, II Encontro Nacional de Engenheiros Cartógrafos e I Encontro de Empresários de Cartografia, sob os auspícios da SBC, ABEC e ANEA, buscando assim a união tão esperada entre os que comungam pelo mesmo ideal do fortalecimento, cada vez maior, da Cartografia Nacional: engenheiros, empresários, estudantes e usuários; a união de todos que acreditam em que sem Mapeamento não há Desenvolvimento.
