This article aims to discuss the curricular construction of public schools from a multicultural perspective, since the school is a place of intercrossing of cultures due to the diversity of the students, despite the cultural plurality there is a homogenization curriculum through the imposition of official and standardized knowledge. The curricular standardization derived from the values of the European white man discriminates the student's culture, contributing to school failure. The school should promote dialogue with students in order to verify the diverse cultures that make up the school environment in order to create a curriculum that relates the proposed knowledge to the student's reality. The work was carried out from the bibliographical research.
