Caiçara: identity that remains in the processes of territorialization, deterritorialization and reterritorialization

Abstract

Caiçara is an individual who lives in a community with specific ways of life, in the middle of the Atlantic Forest biome, creating material and immaterial bonds with the occupied space, with the territorialization process. The deterritorialization of caiçara individuals occurs with migration, mainly to the cities, generating new movements of reterritorialization. In this context, we sought to identify in the caiçara subject common traits present in the process of territorialization, deterritorialization and reterritorialization (TDR).  The research was built through theoretical and bibliographic review. The results obtained allowed us to construct a reading of the common traits of the caiçara subjects based on the TDR conceptual process, from an individual perspective of each concept.
