Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • Submission Platform: All submissions must be made exclusively through the journal's official submission system as outlined in the Section Policies.
  • Formatting and Style: Manuscripts must strictly adhere to the formatting guidelines, including font specifications and file organization, as detailed in Submission Guidelines and Files.
  • Language Policy: The journal accepts contributions exclusively in English. Professional revision of the text is required, as specified in the Language Policy.
  • Citations and References: Citations and references must follow the journal's adapted citation style. Mandatory inclusion of DOIs and adherence to currency restrictions are required, per the Guidelines for file preparation policy.
  • Authorship Standards: All authors must meet the defined authorship criteria, possess an ORCID, and declare their individual contributions using CRediT taxonomy, as per the Authorship and Responsibility Policies.
  • Research Ethics: Studies involving human subjects or animals require mandatory ethics committee approval and documentation. Informed consent for identifiable material is strictly required, following the Research Involving Humans and Animals policy.
  • Originality and Integrity: Submissions must be original. Preprint deposition and duplicate publication are strictly prohibited, as detailed in the Plagiarism and Duplicate Publication and Preprint Policies sections.
  • AI Usage Transparency: The use of artificial intelligence tools in any stage of research or manuscript preparation must be transparently declared and detailed in the submission, per the Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools policy.
  • Transparency and Disclosure: Authors must provide a data availability statement and declare all funding sources and potential conflicts of interest, as required by the Data AvailabilityFinancial Support, and Conflicts of Interest policies.
  • Clinical Trials: Clinical trials must be registered in a public database before the inclusion of the first participant, with the registration number included in the manuscript, per the Clinical Trials policy.
  • Reporting Guidelines: Authors of health research must strictly follow the appropriate reporting guidelines and checklists (e.g., CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE) for their study type, as outlined in the Reporting Guidelines section.
  • Author Fees: No submission or evaluation fees apply. A publication fee is charged only upon the final acceptance of the article, as specified in the Author Fees Policy.
