Open access policy
The Brazilian Electronic Journal of Mathematics (BEJOM) offers free and immediate access to all its content, in accordance with the principles of democratizing scientific knowledge and the guidelines of open science. The journal is listed in editorial policy directories such as Diadorim and adopts international best practices in open access scientific publishing.
No submission, processing, or publication fees are charged for manuscripts submitted to the journal. DOI registration with CrossRef is also carried out free of charge.
In line with its open access policy, BEJOM allows the deposit of preprint, postprint, and the final published version in institutional or digital repositories of the authors' choice. This policy is formally registered in Diadorim.
As of January 1, 2025, all works submitted to BEJOM are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). Under this license, authors retain copyright of their works but authorize sharing, adaptation, and reuse—including for commercial purposes—provided that proper credit is given to the authors and the original source. Any modifications must be clearly indicated. No additional restrictions are imposed beyond those outlined in the license.
Articles published until December 31, 2024, are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0), which allows content sharing with appropriate credit but restricts use for commercial purposes.
