BEJOM accepts works in the areas of mathematics education, statistics, pure and applied mathematics, digitized in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, respecting current spelling standards.
All articles are published with an active DOI.
Since the adoption of continuous publication, each volume should contain a minimum of eight (08) articles.
Received articles are sent for evaluation by internal and external ad-hoc consultants.
The target audience of the journal is teachers and/or researchers from Basic or Higher Education Institutions in the mentioned areas. Works may be carried out in partnership with students from Higher Education Institutions, provided that one of the authors holds a doctoral degree. In the composition of the volumes, priority is given to manuscripts submitted by authors external to UFU (Federal University of Uberlândia), with a maximum of 50% of articles authored by internal researchers/professors.
