Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements:
- The manuscript fits into one of the following categories: final or partial results of scientific research; reviews of scientific or academic works; experience reports; educational products developed within the scope of professional master's programs.
- The submission file is in PDF format and contains no author identification.
- At least one of the authors holds a doctoral degree, and the other authors are professors/researchers from Basic or Higher Education Institutions, or students from Higher Education Institutions.
- All references comply with the formatting rules established in the provided template.
- The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not under review for publication in another journal. The author must indicate in the manuscript whether the data, revisions, and conclusions have already been published in conference proceedings, another article, presentation, thesis, book chapter, or online, and explain the nature of the previous disclosure. If the manuscript falls under any of these cases, this must be stated in the submission process, in the 'Comments to the editor' field.
- The submitted text includes a title, an abstract (with a minimum of 100 and a maximum of 300 words), and keywords in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
- The submitted text has a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 25 pages.
- Metadata includes the names and information of all co-authors, as well as their respective ORCIDs.
- The MSC number(s) have been entered in the corresponding field.
- The authors' names have been removed from the text, in all parts of the manuscript, including references, citations, and footnotes (the author's name(s) may be replaced with the word “Author” and the titles of references with the word “Title”).
- The text follows the standards provided in the templates available in the Instructions for Authors section on the About the Journal page.
- ETHICS AND PUBLICATION PRACTICES STATEMENT: BEJOM aims to ensure the highest standards of publishing ethics. To this end, the authors declare that the principles based on the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors, made available by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), are being observed.
