Abstract
The artist book is a way of expression that has grown in popularity among artists who have recognized the expressive potential of this medium for artistic creation. In this article we intend to present the pedagogical aspects of the use of the artist’s book in classroom drawing discipline, reflecting on the use of this instrument in the context of artistic education in analyzing the results of its learning. As an experimental space by nature, the artist’s books allows for a wide variety of approaches and formats, which is why it is the ideal support to promote the learning of different languages techniques and languages. It was concluded that this project promoted an experimental approach to drawing, encouraged research and the mobilization of concepts, having promoted the acquisition of several technical and visual skills.
