Abstract
As componentes do desvio da vertical, no vértice CHUÁ, foram calculadas pelas fórmulas (8), através de processamento eletrônico, aproveitando 1365 estações gravimétricas comuns, e mais as 81 estações do círculo interno, utilizadas para aplicação da fórmula (9).
Paralelamente a essas observações foram iniciadas as determinações de coordenadas astronômicas para a determinação de perfis astro-geodésicos, por iniciativa do DMA, sob a orientação da Sra. Irene Fischer, visando ao mesmo objetivo: as coordenadas geodésicas do vértice CHUÁ.
Os resultados dessa pesquisa foram publicados em 1973 sob o título “The Basic Framework of the South American Datum of 1969” Irene Fischer, Washington, D.C.
