Abstract
A continuidade do nivelamento geométrico de alta precisão exige cuidados especiais nas Travessias de Cursos D'água. São assim chamadas as visadas superiores a 100 metros.
No caso de Travessia de Curso D'Água, o lance vai se compor de duas visadas desequilibradas em distância: uma sobre o curso d'água na mira distante e outra na mira próxima. As leituras na mira próxima são normais. Porém as leituras na mira distante são indiretas, obtidas por dedução dos resultados das leituras do tambor micrométrico do parafuso basculante do Nível, leituras estas correspondentes à bolha calada e às pontarias feitas nos alvos fixados na mira.
O assunto tratado na presente comunicação refere-se à escolha dos alvos para as Travessias Curtas. Neste artigo são definidas como curtas as travessias compreendidas entre 100 metros e 750 metros.
