Experiência Prática com Ortofotomontagens no R. G. do Sul

Abstract
A DICA, tendo sido criada em 1970 e desde então desenvolvendo e aperfeiçoando técnicas aerofotogramétricas, executou diversas tarefas de aerotriangulação, restituição ortofotográfica, e convencional. Tem atualmente em desenvolvimento um projeto de restituição ortofotográfica para a Prefeitura Municipal de Porto Alegre cuja execução prevê um total de 540 folhas à escala 1:2.000. Tal projeto tem o objetivo de atualizar a cartografia existente do Município, na Prefeitura, servindo também de apoio básico a vários projetos de infraestrutura em execução.
Sabemos que muitos outros setores cartográficos Nacionais que operam com ortoprojetores já superaram estas dificuldades. Estes queiram aceitar nossas desculpas. Nossa intenção é levar aos principiantes, como nós, informações e experiências práticas obtidas durante um trabalho despretensioso, mas que fez com que pudéssemos pôr em prática nossos objetivos de Ensino, Pesquisa e Consultoria.
