Abstract
Com a contínua evolução da eletrônica em técnicas de miniaturização de componentes (a microeletrônica) e processos de integração em grande escala de circuitos que ultimou o aparecimento de microcomputadores e/ou microprocessadores que conjuntamente com outros dispositivos eletrônicos estão sendo incorporados aos instrumentos analógicos e digitais fotogramétricos, possibilitaram a criação de novos sistemas fotogramétricos.
Assim, desde muitos anos, instrumentos fotogramétricos têm evoluído paralelamente com as áreas da eletrônica e com a de processamento de dados nos aspectos hardware e software.
No que diz respeito ao aspecto software nos últimos anos, foram criadas empresas, tais como KERN SYSTEMS, INC (USA), que se dedica ao desenvolvimento de novos sistemas fotogramétricos, Software Package (Pacotes de Programas), suporte técnico, etc., com dedicação exclusiva aos sistemas fotogramétricos desde a aquisição de dados observados a partir de fotogramas até a implantação destes programas, instalação de equipamentos e colocação em operação dos novos sistemas fotogramétricos.
No Congresso Internacional de Fotogrametria (ISP), realizado em Hamburgo – Alemanha Ocidental, foram exibidos pela KERN & CO - AG Aarau – Suíça, os novos sistemas de edição, interação e o novo periférico gráfico G.P.-1, e o Restituidor Digital Analítico DSR-1, mas neste documento porém, os dois primeiros tipos de sistema serão mencionados.
