Thinking about teaching in critical dialogical spaces

This report communicates experiences constituted in the debates that took place in the study forums: readings by Paulo Freire, an itinerant event that takes place in Rio Grande do Sul. The event that takes place annually is divided into thematic circles in which issues pertinent to the education of children from the working class are discussed. This report discusses teaching and its challenges, but also its possibilities from a popular perspective. We need to be aware that teaching must be discussed critically and radically from the different places that the subjects occupy. The university can be one of these places when it implements the inseparability between teaching, research, and extension, creating spaces for dialogue of demands, especially from the working class, to be made and for other projects of sociability and human formation to be managed.
