Abstract

: In the current scenario, we are witnessing a set of changes both in the educational sphere and in broader contexts, caused by technological transformations. Such modifications would be impacting teaching-learning processes in the different domains of knowledge. This study aims to problematize, from a more critical perspective and contextual analysis, discourses about teaching, authorship and ethics produced by the artificial intelligence tool Copilot. To this end, we make use of theoretical-methodological assumptions, inserted within a post-structuralist theory perspective, using Foucauldian discursive analysis. The analytical categories are structured into three axes covering discourses of the self, discourses of being/doing teaching and discourses of authorship and ethics. The results indicate that the AI's ready responses would lead to an accommodation of thinking. Furthermore, they converge towards satisfying desires and optimizing results as synonymous with effectiveness.
