The present work had as objective to problematize the work of the Center for Studies and Research in Specialized Care, CEPAE / UFU, in the constitution of institutional policies for the inclusion of people with disabilities within the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) and in what way this center has contributed to the (re) construction of representations on inclusive education in this institution. In order to carry out this study, the articulations (proximities and divergences) between the authors Althusser and Foucault were analyzed, analyzing the different ways in which power is presented and constituted by determining the relations established in the various institutions, among them the CEPAE at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU).
