LAND REGULARIZATION OF SOCIAL INTEREST IN A CONSOLIDATED HOUSING COMPLEX IN NATAL, RN

The lack of planning during accelerated expansion of Brazilian cities was conducive to establishment of urban problems, among which is land irregularity, which affects the country, predominantly in localities inhabited by lower classes. The objective of this work is to discuss land regularization procedures of Social Interest performed in the period from 2018 to 2020 in Eldorado Housing Complex, located in the municipality of Natal/RN. Therefore, it was necessary to monitor the activities performed by the Urban Land Regularization Project of the Housing Units of Various Municipalities that make up State of Rio Grande do Norte (REURB-S) inherent to the Regularization of this area, from its conception to the phase of delivery of documents to the Registry of Real Estate. It was found that the Housing Complex was installed in 1991, is occupied predominantly by the low-income population and until the year 2018 still had its lots registered in the name of the resident owners. The execution of the stages of land regularization allowed thinking the Set for promotion of the quality of life of its population, with suggestion of improvement and adequacy projects; contribute to the planning of the city; and advancing its inclusion in the formal city.
