The article is the result of research that investigated the articles from the Teaching of Physical Geography session in the annals of the Brazilian Symposium on Applied Physical Geography, 2017 and 2019 editions. The objective was to verify the approaches and trends present in the content of these articles. The discussion considered results of previous researches and authors that approach the trajectory of Physical Geography in Brazil and the question of the contents of Physical Geography in the context of School Geography. The research investigated 60 articles from the 2017 edition and 143 from the 2019 event considering the institutional origin of the work; subareas of Geography; type of work among other aspects. The research adopted the classification proposed by Clemente and Souza (2014) for the analysis and classification of the content of the articles. In the texts, the subjects refer to the content of Geomorphology, Climatology, Biogeography, Pedology, Hydrology, to issues related to Cartography, Geotechnology, Environmental Analysis and Environmental Education. The environmental issue remains evident in the pedagogical proposals. However, the approaches Geodiversity,Tactile Cartography and Risks not identified in previous editions are beginning to appear.
