Water scarcity is a reality in several water bodies that supplied agricultural production demands in the Brazilian savannas. This study characterized the morphometry of five sub-basins of the Grande River, located in the southern region of Serrinha, in the municipality of Frutal, and evaluated land uses and water availability at the springs in each watershed. The morphometric parameters were obtained using the Google Earth tools. The land use percentages were performed for a 2 km radius around the springs, based on data available from the MapBiomas collections. Streamflow data were measured in situ. Among the studied watersheds, one is a fifth-order with larger dimensions and lower drainage density, while the other four are fourth-order. All of them have circularity ratios < 0.51 and low basin relief relation, with variation in the other parameters. A total of 702 springs were registered, among them, 149 were dry or intermittent. The predominant land uses were sugarcane, mosaic of uses, and pasture. The flow was about 15 times higher during the rainy than dry season, but there were no significant differences between periods or among watersheds.
