Abstract

The following essay is an invitation to the occupation of the gaze through the occupation catalog “I Bienal do Centro do Mundo” held on December 7, 2019 in the city of Campo Grande/MS. The photographs are fragments of a narrative that seeks to revisit an action carried out by a collective of artists in an abandoned space in the city center. The event motivated the creation of a graphic production - an occupation catalog - whose objective is to expand the movement of experiencing the abandoned space, through a look that occupies and occupies itself with a narrative. At the end of this essay, it is possible to have access to the paths of creation of the catalog, as well as full access to the archive to download.
