Abstract
This paper aims to investigate the autofiction, and its approaches with the artworks Espelho Diário (2001) by Rosângela Rennó and Alice Duarte Penna and Untitled Film Stills (1977-1980) by Cindy Sherman. Therefore, at first will be approached the origins, the principal features and the developments that made the concept of autofiction created by Serge Doubrovsky to break the fields of theory of literature and also start to nominate works of other fields of knowledge, and after that actually start to draw connections between autofiction, Rennó’s and Sherman’s artworks.
