Abstract
The recent phenomenon of print art fairs, post 2010, in Brazil and in other occidental countries, creates an art system that works in a distinct manner to the big international art circuit of consolidated commercial galleries in the art market. Therefore, this article aims to identify the agents of this sector through mapping of the circulation of printed art in Brazil, as well as introduce the basic concepts about art markets and the legitimization of art through a sociological perspective of art, focused in this subsystem of print art, a concept developed by the author.
