Apparittion : Between the river and the forest

Abstract

This text offers a reflection on the work entitled Apparition, carried out in Belém between 2022 and  2023, exploring its intrinsic connections with the elements of nature, in particular the river and the forest. When entering the cultural field, we seek to understand the intermediations involved in the creative processes of this work, aiming to tension and expand its critical, theoretical and artistic dimensions. The analysis considers a specific cut of time and space, from which it is possible to examine in a more accurate way the dialogues that arise between the work and the environment in which it was conceived.
