GEORREFERENCIACIÓN DE FOTOGRAFIAS AÉREAS PARA GIS EMPLEANDO NAVEGADORES GPS
Main Article Content
Abstract
Availability of cartography is very important when GIS are used. In our case, the studied area has not the proper cartographic coverage, using aerial photographs of croplands as the core of the applicati« a. The problem of georeferencing with a minimumof cartography found a solution applying the low-cost procedure de. -ibed below. GPS navigators as source of data, scanners and specific software were used. After this, : ul!-scale aerial photographs were projected into Gauss-Kriiger and UTM System 421. Final products were applied in à information system environment developed for an extensive 18.000 hectares crop area (soy, wheat and corn) Entre Rios province, Argentina. For this kind of GIS applied on Argentina croplands, errors in georeferencing activities u ng low-cost procedures were acceptable.
